Kimera Automobili ha dado un paso monumental en la reinterpretación de un icono del rally con la presentación del primer EVO38 destinado a un cliente. Este vehículo, que se exhibió en el reciente Monterey Car Week, representa la evolución lógica de lo que podría haber sido el legendario Lancia 037 si hubiera adoptado la tracción integral en los años 80. A diferencia de su predecesor, el EVO37, que se mantiene fiel a la configuración de dos ruedas motrices que coronó a Lancia como el último campeón del WRC con este sistema, el EVO38 explora territorios desconocidos para el mítico italiano.

Though famous as the last two-wheel drive rally car to win the WRC, the Lancia 037 has come some way since the early 1980s. Kimera Automobili has ensured the old car is very much back in the contemporary consciousness with its stunning EVO37 recreations, and recently hinted at a four-wheel drive EVO38, a vision of what the 037 might have become.
