Hipkins thinks Greens are disenfranchising voters. As an ex Labour voter that became distant from Labour after Hipkins binned many progressive policies and went on to insult Wahine Māori it's your party disenfranchising people Hipkins. I'm not the only ex Labour voter thanks to you either. #nzpol

Ben Howlett is an ex-Tory MP, owner of influential PoliticsUK account, and the fixer we exposed selling access to Westminster

Turns out he's also involved in Labour fundraising, and discussing donations with Labour MPs

So do you think the Labour candidate for Gorton and Denton will be:
An ex Labour MP?
Someone who works for a Labour MP?
Someone related to a Labour MP?
Someone who works for or is related to a Labour donor?
Someone who works for a lobbyist?

No one can ever be accused of ‘wasting police time’ again. I’ve just watched a video of police arresting a 75 year old ex teacher for peacefully protesting against genocide.

George Orwell would be proud.

Didn’t have Labour being more authoritarian than Braverman on my bingo card.

The Liberal Democrats are playing this well, but the important point here is that, just like the Conservatives, Labour is stupid to move right to win over Reform voters.
July 19, 2025 at 6:54 PM
It now seems beyond any doubt that Burnham will be prime minister soon.

Labour MPs will look at that result - the consolidation of the progressive vote, the swathes of ex-Reform voters returning to Labour - and they won’t be able to wait long.
