EFTA01226646 | EFTA01226777 ExternalApplications External Applications The Explorer Bar allows you to launch external applications. External Applications are configured for the Explorer Bar in the Application Layout by an Administrator. The Monitoring Station Operator can launch these applications, as needed, to perform tasks related to or supplementary to C•CURE 9000 Monitoring. Examples of applications that could be configured to launch from the Explorer Bar are the following: ■ An Email program ■ Windows Task Manager ■ Notepad ■ Other similar utilities. Launching an External Application To Launch an External Application 1. From the Monitoring Station, navigate to the Explorer Bar. 2. EFTA01225768 | EFTA01225841 Monitoring Station Viewers in the C•CURE 9000 Monitoring Station (continued) Viewer Description Explorer Bar The Explorer Bar provides easy access to the status of selected objects in the C•CURE 9000 System.You can open status lists for each item shown in the Explorer Bar Non-Hardware. Hardware, and Video sections. You can launch externalapplications that have been configured for your system from the ExternaIApplications section of the Explorer Bar. Swipe and Show The Swipe and Show Viewer displays personnel portraits when an access attempt is made at a door configured for swipe and show. Information about the activity at the Door and any related Area also displays. You can use the navigation buttons on the viewer to move backwards/forwards through recent activities. You can use the Grace Personnel button to give the displayed person access to an antipassbadcArea, whie the Grace Partition tab allows you to grace al Personnel in selected Partition(s) at one time. The information and functions available in the Monitoring Station are highly dependent on how you want to secure and monitor your site and present information to the system operators. External Applications The Monitoring Station can be configured to allow a system operator to open an external application. External applications are defined as applications not provided with C•CURE 9000. Example: You could configure the Monitoring Station to allow operators to open an e-mail application, Web browser, or a text editor. External applications are configured for the Explorer Bar when the system administrator configures the application layout in the C•CURE 9000 Administration Station. The Monitoring Station operator can then launch these applications as needed to perform tasks related to C•CURE 9000 or to supplement its functions. Manual Actions In the Monitoring Station, operators can perform manual actions on a variety of system objects.
