I recently added some new features to #FabricStudio which I will highlight in the next weeks - here is the first: Item Recovery (blog.fabric.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/i...)

This feature is now directly accessible from #FabricStudio for #VSCode

I am very happy to announce release v1.0 of Fabric Studio!
You can now work with Fabric directly from VSCode and manage all your artifacts. It's 100% based on the official Fabric REST APIs! You can get an overview of the features here: blog.gbrueckl.at/2024/12/rele...

Another unknown feature of #FabricStudio are its drag&drop capabilities.
e.g. workspace roles: you can simply drag an existing assignment and drop it on another workspace which will copy the role assignment over to the new workspace.

I just published a new version of #FabricStudio which now also shows you the Upstream and Downstream relations of each individual item. The underlying APIs were just released and are still in Beta - I hope Microsoft aligns the names of the ItemType names some time soon ...

#TMDL (Tabular Model Definition Language) View in #PowerBI Desktop was just released.
If your models are already deployed to the #PBI Service and you want to modify them using #TMDL you can use #FabricStudio to do so:

I just added a new feature to hashtag#FabricStudio which allows you to open any SQL endpoint (or the underlying item) directly in the Microsoft SQL extension for browsing as well as modifications (DML/DDL)

The reverse also works to browse the physical files in OneLake!
