This project has been exceptionally frustrating (the airplane fought us every step of the way) but the wing and rudder are reinstalled with new fabric and she’s just waiting on rigging to get back in the air! #aviation #aircraftrestoration #fabricwork #womeninaviation

If you enjoy fabricwork like embroidery, you really should check out a sumo ring entering ceremony.

I would also like to open conversation about artists' roles in hyperconsumerism and labor exploitation 🤔

As artists, "I question why even have this outsourcing as a business standard."

I also adopted Caragai Mol, the "who are you? what is this place?" NPC from the Mols in the Steppe. He is now an ugdan that temporarily departed the Mols to venture to Eorzea with his husband, Qoribucha Mankhad. While there he served as a medic for the pirate crew, the Dragons of the Deep.

I'm still not over how hard Madhouse went in on this animation. He is putting on a jacket! 😭

(Frieren is a great story, love the manga, the anime is an amazing adaptation etc etc... but the animators really loved their fabricwork.)

I've knitted some scarves, and one single grimly completed pair of socks, and just generally accept that my manual dexterity is about as good as my patience for projects that take weeks. But I keep /wanting/ to get into it again; I like fabricwork, even if I'm quite bad at it.
