I feel like there's a genuine issue here, where the 6 feet stuff was of a piece with the handwashing/facetouching stuff where people were thinking of COVID as being spread by like spit droplets and not realizing that being in enclosed spaces with people was the problem. But we didn't know!

i was gonna try to be poetic about this but no i'm just thinking abt facetouching and that takes me straight to -> xie lian touching hua cheng's (sensitive, wet, sneezy) nose 😳 or massaging the poor tender, swollen sinus areas (v careful around the missing eye!) if hc's having a cold/allergy flareup
