Absolute funniest bit in live music is when a big DJ is squirming behind the decks, twisting knobs and all that, and then the camera cuts to the faders and you see everything is muted except one that’s playing the pre-recorded mix.

Looks like after 2.5 years one of my faders is dying and needs replacement, will have to see how involved it is later

After sleeping on it, the thing I actually want Elgato to make is a Stream Deck with motorized faders on it.
I'm not sure that I'd replace my GoXLR with it, but the Wave XLR Pro and the six dials on the new Stream Deck seem like a pretty solid way to go for live audio mixing, assuming the software is good. Always disliked the Wave Link software but the changes they've made look smart.
