Had to stop a little earlier than I wanted to tonight, I really need to organise some glasses + my hand/wrists/back were hurting from artist shrimp position 🖊️🦐

But some details!! The armour is ROUGH and so is the face paint but I’m getting there slowly 😅

Updated snaps of the current WIP! It's been a huge learning curve with colours this time around, primarily that and shading is what I've got left to do, which is very exciting! I'm having so much fun trying to better my skills 🤗

Snip from my wip longfic of Vespera's journey through the events of BG3 ✨

"Dirty"

#writesky #writingprompts #TFOTSnip #writingcommunity #wip #bg3 #durge #faelingwip #faelingwrites
They opened their eyes, squinting at the clouded orange light coming through what looked like a dirty window. Lifting a hand, they noticed splatters of dried blood on their fingers, hands, even arms. Looking down, they could see a smattering of more dried blood on their clothes. Was it their own blood? Or did it belong to someone else? Vespera shivered at the thought.

"Injury"

"Bellara?" "Your friend is dead." Her voice wasn't its usual cheery tone, but judging, angry. "Dead and gone," Lucanis echoed from the darkness. "It was your fault." Emmrich. Oh how she wished to be in his arms again, hear his soft, calming tones reverberating through her body and into her soul. But his voice wasn't soft at all now. It was harsh, critical, intimidating. "Your fault," Taash echoed, their anger sounding barely contained. It was all her fault. From the beginning. Every failure, every injury, every death. All because of her.

Made a fair amount of progress on my art tonight!! Kinda proud of the eyes ngl, there’s still some shading and balancing of the colours, maybe darken the lashes, but ahhh it’s going so well, I love making things 🥰

"Distract(ed)"

#WIPSnips #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts #faelingwrites #faelingwip
Snippet from ellipsus - white text on a dark rainbow background. Text is as follows: Distracted by the prospect of stopping and sating her hunger and thirst, she didn’t hear the careful footfalls in the trees to the left, coming straight for her. She didn’t know she was being hunted until she felt the cool metal of a dagger being pressed to her throat, and an arm wrapping around her torso, stopping her dead in her tracks. A smooth male voice spoke softly by her ear. “Shh. Not a sound. Not if you want to keep that darling neck of yours.”

Okay I got pretty far in the final outline today, I’m kinda proud! The detailing is kinda happening already, trying different pen options and such to see how they go. The hair (and colouring) will be my biggest issues at the end, but I’m happy with the progress 🥰

Getting so dang sleepy…. But I’m making really good progress with this pic, hopefully it shows enough to see how I’m doing, but not enough to spoil my plans lmao

If it does it does tho, I’m happy with it 🙂‍↔️

"Exhaust(ed)"

#WIPSnips #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts #faelingwrites #faelingwip #solas #dragonage
White text on a dark rainbow background - a snippet from ellipsus. The text is as follows: Initially, he was too exhausted and weak to even dream. To enter the Fade had been beyond reach when first the darkness took him to rest. But now, after however long it had been, he finally felt the Fade within reach. His eyes opened, narrowed against the greenish glow he'd come to recognise as the flowing energy of the Fade. It felt warm, like a cozy hearth at your feet on a cold wintry night, flames crackling on rough-hewn wood. It felt like home.

Vespera stared at her pale elf companion, a mixture of hunger and crazed lust in her eyes. "Astarion if you don't fuck me right now I'll rip your cock from your pelvis and fuck myself instead." She baulked at her words the minute they left her mouth. "Gods I'm sorry I don't know what's wrong with me right now, FUCK!"

Oh. Oh. It was all so clear now. Tav beneath him, their bodies pressed close, as he drank them in. Their gasps and moans in his pointed ears. The fluttering of their heart against his silent chest. The quivering legs. The way they'd clutched at his shirt desperately. Apparently, Tav enjoyed having him feed on them. And clearly, Astarion enjoyed it too. A lot. He groaned at himself, closing his eyes momentarily as it all sunk in. Then, an idea struck.

Updates on my Ziv bg3 piece! Finished the face/neck marking (hell) then attempted some colour work, mostly just figuring out what colours and what brushes/tools would work best. Didn’t get to do as much as I’d have liked, so it’s just an airbrush test so far 😅

Despite being in a bad mood before I'm glad I did art, the colours are coming along so well! This is my first try at doing colour on a bit of a bigger scale digitally, and I think I'm doing okay, learning a ton always 🤗

"Call(ed)"

#WIPSnips #WriteSky #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts #faelingwrites #faelingwip #bg3
A snippet from ellipsus - a dark rainbow background with white text, which reads as below: He called me lovely? I knew I must look like a train wreck, green hair tangled all over the place, no makeup to cover my over-sized pores, dark under-eyes and poor complexion. Not to mention I was just wearing casual, baggy clothes I normally wouldn't have been seen dead or alive in - black track pants and a far too loose tee with a faded graphic on the front. I knew he had to be joking, so I did what I usually did when someone made fun of me, and my head lowered, my shoulders slumped, and I basically curled inwards on myself. It wasn't a great response, but years of being a punching bag for people had created whatever coping mechanisms I had now. A cool finger pressed under my chin, lifting my head back up to look into those pools of scarlet. "You don't believe me? I'd be more than happy to show you just how lovely you are." The smirk remained, and my entire face felt like lava was trying to seep out of it. "I-uh-um-no-I-uh-"

idk if I need to get all fancy with the wip signing watermark style thing, I doubt anyone is stealing my art atp but I thought I'd try it

But the pic is coming along nicely I think! Excited to do more

#dragonage #faelingwrites #faelingwip #datv #fanfic #writing
A snippet of writing extracted from ellipsus Why did Varric choose her? What made her special? Was it just her connection to the Inquisitor he'd spent so long with a decade ago? She was nothing like them. She was nothing at all. "You failed us all." Emmrich. Vhenan, her heart, her soulmate. Their argument from before the fight with Ghilan'nain still stung. She knew he only wanted the best for her. But she didn't deserve the best. She didn't deserve him, or his love. She deserved to be in the place of her fallen friends. She deserved oblivion.
