what did you expect to see for the equinox?
a spring bird, a springboard, into the sunnier days ahead, full of warmth and growth and being outdoors.
maybe.

jim o'rourke sang:
"women of the world take over
because if you don't the world will come to an end
and it won't take long"
enjoy our floral #freeartfriday and happy #internationalwomensday
peace out!

the sea in a globe, a wave in a sphere,
the sun comes out, #freeartfriday is here.
we wanted to make the most of the weather, so we've dropped our art, and got back to the #ArtShed to paint some more!
#fafnqy #mawganporth

icarus only came a cropper when the sun came out... rumour has it he's been riding them thermals and chasing them storms since last october without the sun bothering him at all! then today...
(we are also taking advantage of the weather; i.e. #freeartfriday on a wednesday #fafnqy #mawganporth)

#freeartfriday on a Monday... well, in the sunshine, we couldn't resist the #southwestcoastpath lined with flowered up gorse; the perfect backdrop for our #mawganporth figures!
#fafnqy

for this week's #freeartfriday, we have revisited our fisherman, AKA the Stargazey Piper, and updated him as a jumping jack. Flash!
#fafnqy #mawganporth

does anybody know what day it is tomorrow? these guys do... it's Saturday. this afternoon, they were more interested in the day it is today, i.e. #freeartfriday, and the opportunity to sun themselves...
#fafnqy #mawganporth

Coo! will you look at that! this week, we have been learning that pigeons and doves are pretty much the same thing: the general rule is the bigger, meaner ones are pigeons, and the smaller, cuter ones are doves... Guess which ours is!?
#freeartfriday #fafnqy #mawganporth

we were aiming for "love token" but we got lost along the way... our eventual destination for this week's #freeartfriday was rather more "love totem"... and we do love it!
#fafnqy #mawganporth

for our first post here*, you might have thought we'd manage a bluer sky... well, can't be helped, this is #mawganporth today & we have dropped this week's #freeartfriday piece on the #southwestcoastpath. is that enough of a clue? only 630 miles to cover! #fafnqy
*yes we know, what took us so long?
