I'm seeing crossover in the extremity of what is happening in US vs faintness of political opposition and media response, and the way sexual assault works - even as it takes place, victims often cannot quite accept that it IS happening; stunned, they freeze, stay silent. Perpetrators know this.
simply repeating the straight reporting of what is happening in the executive branch makes you sound like you have lost your mind.

Every time I get mail from the SSA, I immediately begin panicking & my heart rate skyrockets to the point of faintness. People shouldn’t be this terrified to get mail from people who are *supposed to* help. They look for any reason you’re not disabled instead of looking at the evidence that you are.

Yup. I went out there. I have a bunch of “dug from her yard” gift plants that still need to go in the ground.
It was 84°, not that high for a Southern-born gal. And I did get two peonies, a rhubarb, some wild ginger, and a pretty sedum planted….
And then, sure enough, a dazed feeling & faintness.

Not quite as quirky within the episode itself when compared to the opening, but he does still use those asynchronous layers on occasion. I'd say the most beautiful way he has to convey that faintness of relationships that nonetheless still resonate in Awajima is through subtle transparencies

Tomorrow we’ll hopefully have a Diagnostic/estimate on the car. My anxiety meds get filled. I have my 2nd therapy appointment if I’m less… crippled with faintness and chest pain and BP.
