Happy year of the snake to one of my most beloved monsters.

It's your year, you beautiful creature.

Emma and Hook (OaT)
Jude and Cardan (Folk of the Air)

It's not enemies to lovers unless they've definitely tried to kill each other. <3

She'd likely have spent all of her soul in attempting to slow or stop the corruption. Or more likely, if she hadn't met with her own personal monster, she would have become one. #FallenSaints #BlackenedVines

If you you see this, post a knight!

Art by Kittiemancer!

A beautiful man sits in a throne with plate armor and a long red cloak draped over his shoulders, like blood dripping down beneath him. Blond hair tumbles down hus face, obscuring one side, and falling over the arm of the throne. His chin is perched on his hand in a show of smug, cocky boredom. His skin is stained black at the tips of his ears and at his fingers from the corruption in his blood. A great scar carves across his cheek from the edge of his lip, opening his mouth in a hideous smile. White scar tissue leaves a trail over his skin to his temple. He bears no sword, leaving the viewer to wonder where it might be, with whom, or for what purpose. Has he used it to slay another creature? Is it simply resting aside? Chains also frame the throne. Who are they for? For the beast perched there? Or for something worse? Something a beast like that might have a reason for cutting down?

probably one of my favorite passages from my main work

"It reaches up to unclasp the cloak around its shoulders, letting it drop behind him like a great pooling of blood."

TW: mild body horror, blood

Definitely love at first sight.

The scar at my throat pulls, aching as if it might split, skin rupturing. That irreverent image. A profanity of my god. It’s so wrong to behold. Fractured. Depraved. A shambling corpse. Monstrous. And beautiful. It reaches up to unclasp the cloak around its shoulders, letting it drop behind him like a great pooling of blood. Without it, I can see its form outlined in moonlight. Where its clothes sag because it is little more than withered muscle and bone and too-tight flesh over it. Desiccated. Where its image is wrecked with moss and blood and dirt. It towers, at least a full head taller than I am, the length of its pale hair falling at odd lengths. Sallow and sickly. An Afflicted wearing the skin of a Grace Fallen. It’s a god. It’s a fucking god. Broken and hideous, like it had climbed from some ancient crypt. Like me. ruined by ache and hunger. But it is my god. As if my fears have given that image life.

TW: sparring, magic used as a weapon, scarred villain, mild violence and implied violence

This scene where my demi-mortal OC (Anya) is confronted by the scarred avatar of her god.

#FallenSaints #LysAnya #OC #DarkFantasy
Don’t scream. Don’t. But I can’t feel my arm. I can’t even feel his cold on my skin. My hands slacken. I can’t feel the ground beneath me. I can’t feel my body. I’m weightless, sliding to the ground. A second grip at the edge of my opening of my tunic drags me off of my feet. I listen to myself choke, a ragged gasping sound, as his gift smothers me. Icy veins trace lines along my exposed throat, down my collarbones, my spine. Thousands of insects crawling against the curve of my skin, a hundred needles pricking my flesh. My eyes close against the force of his gift. His fingers drop from my wrist to slip across the nape of my neck, cradling my head where it falls back, my wings limp behind me. His mouth is a horrific snarl, a scar across his face where I can see it, lip curling back from his fangs. Its touch is a well of saccharine control, its flesh as cool as glass. His nails bite into my skin, blood beading at my throat. I can’t feel anything but that cold, that crawling, that fear. No. No. Wake up. WAKE UP. “See how weak they’ve made you?” His words are dull, muffled, as if I am no longer a part of my body, the shuddering, frail thing. Shadow spilling over his hands, stretching for purchase, but there is none. And then his scent. His scent as my lungs finally expand, and its burning, that rot smell, and his hunger as my blood beads on my skin.

Heavily facially scarred character sticks tongue out playfully and mischievously. Character is Lysander, platinum blond hair in braids and big blue eyes. Priestess character holds up a cross to ward off evil. She wears a flower crown with thorns and a set of four white horns in her head. A black robe and veil. Character is Anastascia. Her expression is grave concern. Warrior/hero character blows a kiss to the audience. Short black hair falls to his shoulders. A gold pauldron on one shoulder and a filigree golden pauldron on the other. His envy green eyes are closed. Character is Antares. His expression is very cute.
