#fallingfruit
There is so much illegal dumping in this city. I could make a website like fallingfruit of illegal dump sites. I could also tell you where more fruit trees are than what is on the fallingfruit website.

Kumquat harvest before New Orleans is hit by potentially historic winter conditions! I’ve been monitoring this tree for some time now 🍊 While kumquat trees are considered relatively cold hardy, it’s best to harvest before a cold snap to preserve the quality of the fruit.

Street to sweet, part 2 - Candied kumquat. I canned most of them for future use but kept a few out to eat dried. Ginger cut into fun shapes to spice things up!

Je découvre FallingFruit, ca a l’air cool! Je vois qu’à Trondheim ils répertorient surtout les magasins où on peut récupérer les invendus jetés 🤷🏻‍♀️
(Et pour les myrtilles, on sait tous où aller 😏)

Did you ever want to know when & where to find public harvest fruit? Maybe want to know if that IS a persimmon? http://j.mp/FallingFruit

Street to sweet! Urban foraged citron, candied. This fruit is extremely bitter even after being candied! The first pice I had was very intense but now I can’t stop eating them.
