current ao3 down time is reminding me of when plugins for a certain mmo were going to be down for like a week instead of a day after a patch and people freaked out like waiting for 7 days for fanmade features was an impossible task that would kill them

Please know things like curating playlists etc. are still wonderful!
I've found a lot of great music from fanmade playlists for stuff! I take a lot of inspiration from music!

I don't follow Max, but I'm having a hunch he hasn't yet to hype this big fanmade update for DoA5LR which is a lot more than a netcode update (note: I haven't gotten confirmation if it was vibecoded or found any tells and such, so still a tad iffy on it) Link Twitter...

I'm so gonna read interviews about this game, I have a lot of questions on what was the motivation behind it (besides Money™).
I think by this point this is the 7th (or 8th, depending if you count that one fanmade spin off) time you've visited Heavenly Host. Not counting mangas, movies, CDs etc!

Can't help but keep rewatching JumboART's recent fanmade YouTube animation (which is absolutely peak) for one of @jamies.page songs. Made me want to sketch a lil before going to eep

-And I think it can also include other things, like other kinds of fanmade merch, so they could come in bundles in that case . Basically they're collaborative projects between fanartists in a fandom :)

Not to my knowledge? WoW certainly didn't have it at the time I played (from TBC to Legion there wasn't a Dating sim) and Guild Wars 2 also doesn't have it so... maybe in KR MMOs? Closest thing are like, fanmade games/visual novels or just fanfiction so now im confused as to why people ask for this

if i’m being honest i find it kinda gauche to resell prints and fanmade merch for higher amounts than what you originally paid… to an extent i understand things like pins and keychains but like… paper?? selling it for more than the original artist got???
