the funny thing abt engaging with pokemon fanmedia as a non-pokemon fan is that I. genuinely do not really know what pmd trap tiles do outside of kink contexts. like I assume they hit you with negative status effects, but like...???

I do hope that some ESC critical fanmedia will stick around to report. So that all that one-sided twisted Green/EBU talk is not the only narrative that people hear, because it will be the talk that the regular media, and the locals, pick up and runs with.

i have to be honest that i struggle a lot to understand today's people idea of "working on a worthy piece of fanmedia". maybe it's because we mostly did it for ourselves and were still thrilled when 2 or 3 friends talked about it, but it seems that less of the fanmedia space is about community now

i always appreciate seeing "_______ followed you" but when it happens after i post art of my own fankid OC's instead of fanmedia characters (angel, val, verosika, etc) i feel aggressively smug like i just won an award

imagine if people could just say 'i understand that this is a thing that occurs in canon and is in fact a part of the character, but it is my own personal squick, so i choose to not engage with fanmedia that engages with it' instead of crashing out and trying to gaslight everyone who played the game

I’m really trying to get back in the game but ESC is making it pretty difficult with these nonsensical Joost-denying yas girl slay awards and online fanmedia “we teach you a lesson and you get rewards” sessions.

I love going from acting like a silly teenager to acting like a 30 year old who cant use emojis and uses facebook and tumblr to find fanmedia of their hyperfixation of 15 years.

So finally all rehearsals will be closed for press and fanmedia then? Good. I was rooting for this idea for years already! The changes look good (on paper).. now lets have a look how the EBU will actually handle it for real.. #Eurovision

I don't think fanfic and other fan media should be treated differently than non-fanmedia when it comes to standards of content

Thank all so much for the support. It means so much to us. I know it may seem like a silly story but it’s been a journey to get this out. So thank. You for the support.
I wonder how long till we get 200
