We are witnessing MAGA equivalent of destruction of Democratic Party through election of progressive Socialists.

I think this distinction between fascism and patrimonialism only makes sense on an ideal-typical level; actually-existing fasicsm was very personalistic, Mussolini oversaw promotions and assignments and rewarded friends and family

We're already seeing how a liberal party abandoning the trans community is playing out in the UK, and the Labour party simply adopts more fasicsm, and people we *thought* were allies write our community off when it becomes politically convenient.
