Remember.

The DSAs keep comparing themselves to FDR Democrats and policies.

The FDR policies were great for White People, bad for Black People.

And the DSAs are 90+% White.

So, y'all do the math.

My other takeaway from this story is the degree to which Republicans wildly exaggerated their 2024 victory. All winning parties do this, but the degree to which the GOP reframed a narrow victory as a Reagan or FDR-like tectonic shift is remarkable.

Socialism is so bad they had to create a whole ass 22nd ammendment to keep the “socialist” FDR from being president a fifth term.

The largest blue wave in history came with the election of FDR in 1932.

The 2026 blue wave will be even bigger. 🌊

And the 20th century was over. It was a repudiation by both parties of social and economic liberalism from FDR to LBJ. 9/

On the eve of his second election — on October 31, 1936 — FDR delivered his coup de grace, explaining the stakes in his fight with the moneyed interests.

Today’s economic royalists are backing Trump, and the fight is much the same.

Okay, two things:

1. Why are you white-splaining the Black Panther Party as a socialist movement in the comments about FDR, the New Deal, and how those policies hurt Black Americans?

2. Anytime anyone mentions they are FDR Dems, New Deal, or FDR policies, they dilute how it harmed Blacks.
