First you are going to make QWET. Step 1. Stick 750ml bottle of Everclear into your freezer and put your oz or more of abv in a separate container with a lid in the freezer.

To make FECO you will need to strain the tincture one more time to get rid of the fats, lipids, and waxes. To strain you will need a coffee filter and a funnel. Then it’s time for the fun part! Reducing the alcohol.

The other variable is the amount you use. You may not have used enough. I think making tincture or FECO and holding it under your tongue would help you absorb it.

I like to make it into FECO because there’s no loss of potency and it doesn’t taste bad. Plus you can infuse a ton more FECO into stuff than just using flower.

Yes, most budtenders are especially nice and knowledgeable people. My first time doing FECO I greened out ,I took half of 500 mg. I can do 300 mg now no problem but my first time I thought I was dying but it does pass, but it’s not much fun.
I did go slowly with small dosages. This was years ago, and people understand cannabis usage so much better now that it’s been legal in many states. I have to say that the budtenders I have met over the years have so much more understanding than medical professionals. That is a shame.
