Look into Fedilab, Friendica, Diaspora, Pixelfed, PeerTube, Session, Vidzy, FUTO apps, Proton apps, Tuta Mail, Mastodon, Vutuv, Element, Particl Marketplace, and any Fossify apps. Those are all great alternatives. Their apps are still being made or in beta

I tried several (official one, tusky, fedilab, ... maybe others). Best one when I tried them (which was months ago) was Megalodon, IMO. It at least lets you see reply/boost counts, unlike the base masto puritanical ridiculousness. Fedilab I didn't like for reasons I can't remember now, maybe jank?

elk.zone ist hauptsächlich für den Browser am Desktop gedacht. Mobil funktioniert es auch, da würde ich dann aber native Apps vorziehen. Unter Android etwa Tusky, Fedilab oder Megalodon und unter iOS IceCubes oder Ivory.

Not really looking back, from my few hours of using it i really like it :neocat_aww: and i feel okay finally using my smartphone for anything
