Reading 4 books at once. But giving more attention to 'White Tears, Brown Scars: How White Feminisn Betrays Women of Colour' by Ruby Hamad. It's such an amazing and interesting read. Also loving 'Freedom is a Constant Struggle ' by Angela Davis. I would totally recommend all of them.

Yes, it definitely has given people permission to act out, and the appropriation of terms like "feminisn" and "protecting women" to justify their bad behaviour, all encouraged by the media class, gives them the mirage of "doing good". They definitely feel safer abusing people these days.
