let me take care of you by pinknephthea. summary: "Oh. Hey. Sorry to bother you at work like this. Um, you busy?" Ed's voice sounds a little off. But maybe it's just the connection. "It's no bother at all. And not especially, no." I'm never too busy for you, he wants to say. But as usual, the words lodge themselves in his throat and refuse to leave. "Is everything alright?" "Okay. That's good." Edward hesitates and Roy can hear him let out a woosh of air. "I—ugh—I need to ask you… a favor. You can say no." Roy sets his pen down, now on high alert. Ed never asks for anything—let alone favors. He's always so adamant on doing things on his own no matter how much easier they would be if he just asked for help once in awhile. "Alright, now I'm worried." for saptember 2026, days 2 and 9: protective and confessions. for royed week 2026, day 6: "stay. just... stay."

something worth celebrating by pinknephthea. summary: "Good morning, sweetheart." Roy finally says softly, knowing he really needs to get up now if he wants to have time for coffee and breakfast. Ed's lips brush against Roy's chest before he pulls back enough to lean up and press them against Roy's own before mumbling a response. "Mornin'." for saptember, day 6 + day 15 + day 25: adoration + gift giving + living together. last year for my birthday, i made ed have a very happy birthday. so this year it's roy's turn to have a very happy birthday on my birthday hehe. happy birthday, roy! you deserve your happily ever after.

home is wherever i'm with you by pinknephthea. summary: When Roy lets Ed settle his feet back onto the concrete beneath them, he leans down to rest his forehead to Ed's and Ed feels his breath catch in his throat as he stares up into that warmth. "Welcome home, Ed." "Yeah. I'm home." Ed whispers into the space between them. And if his eyes are a little wet it's not like anyone's going to call him out for it. for saptember 2026, day 8 + day 21 + day 27: reunion + firsts + home.
