In the story, this page features the night “the wall between man and Faery” was removed (first panel), freeing Unseelie demons from their frozen hell to prey on mankind and destroy the world (second panel). The bottom left (third) panel shows our hero, MacKayla Lane, who has been watching from a closet, fully lit by her protective “MacHalo.” But the next morning when she leaves (panel four), she’s attacked by a group of Dark Seelie Princes (panel five).
