Man, I haven't made updates for my #FF5FJF2024 run in ages! I beat the crystals using two Death Sickles and now I'm on my way to Exdeath's castle. Smooth sailing so far.

And we made it to World 2. For once we had reson to get Shiva and Ramuh. Turns out Romeo's Ballad doesn't just lock down most normal encounters, but all three meteorite bosses, too. #FF5FJF2024

World 2 finished. Mostly no troubles now that the team came together, tho the Guardians fight was as (almost) always highly obnoxious. #FF5FJF2024

It´s THIS time of the year again: Final Fantasy V Four Job Fiesta. I´m going for a Comet Run this year using a version that has all jobs unlocked from the beginning. That should make for some interesting situations! #FF5FJF2024

After buying more daggers in Carwen the mountain and Walse Tower were a cakewalk, Garula went down after I threw the Shuriken I got in Tycoon. And our second job is... Ranger! Nice! Ninja + Ranger is a killer-combination. On to Karnak then! #FF5FJF2024

We had to retry Ifrit twice to get one that doesn't spam AOE fire, but got lucky that Byblos didn't do anything dangerous and focus-attacked him to death on the first try. So now we have the missing shards and can use Bard! Giving playing the pianos a use this run. #FF5FJF2024

Monk is really strong at the game's beginning. Nothing really withstands getting 8 fistings or 4 kicks a round. Garula's conters are spicy, but even him we could simply YOLO focus attack (it was close tho). Water crystal brings Dragoon. Oh no. #FF5FJF2024

Good news! We beat that Exdeath guy that everyone was complaining about. Unfortunately he cleverly got around my reflect/float strategy by punching my wizards in the mouth, but instead of panicking I snapped ten rods over his head (while panicking). #ff5fjf2024

Time for the final job! It's... Freelancer. Meh. Not THAT interesting. I mean... the rest of the game will be a cakewalk now. A freelancer with Ninja Speed, Berserker strength, dual wield and X-Fight will make short work of pretty much every enemy. But still... #FF5FJF2024

It´s helpful to know that enemies in Torna Channel only attack female characters (yikes). Karlabos went down quickly, as I bought a couple of swords to throw at him. At the Ship Graveyard, I spent a few minutes fighting skeletons until they dropped daggers. #FF5FJF2024
