I write fanfic to spend more time with the characters obsess over and to expand their stories far beyond canon, my ideas usually last for years. And sometimes I write fanfic because canon desperately needs a fix. My first fanfic was a fix-it with an epic-length series of sequels. /1

This is something I've learned from the community: deleting comments is ok! Whenever I get a sus/ bad comment I'll kind of stew over it for a few days bc idk how to react ;-; but I've seen my fellow writers curate their space and now I do that a bit more too, gotta protect my wrinkles

As a reader, edgy and unsual ideas, fix-its, and canon-divergence intrigue me. I usually read in fandoms where I love the world and the characters so much that want more but I don't write fanfics on my own because I already have that one true obsession™️to write about. /2 #ff_festachat

Omg same!! Someone recently asked if I write ff for stuff that isn't anime, and I don't bc most of what I consume are novels and those usually tie things up really well and I'm like what else would I write for them xD not that it's impossible but it doesn't call to me as much #ff_festachat
