I'm winter retting some of my hemp this year. Here is the bast fiber from a single stalk of Futura 83 hemp. I think it's still a bit under retted. Staple length is more than 2 meters!

Bumble bees adore the pollen of the male fiber hemp. Here's a volunteer hemp plant (big and branchy) covered in bumble bees. If you turn the sound up, you can hear the bees. The main hemp plot is very loud!
