finally found some people to play on fightcade and womp womp, I have to call my ISP (fidium) to allow port forwarding.
I did configure it in the app, but that doesn't do jack if the ISP needs to enable it on their end.

Pretty sure Fidium likes it when customers pay for 2Gbps and run everything through wi-fi, so the customer never uses anywhere close to what they’re paying for. Fuck that, I’m not afraid to drill holes in my house and pull Ethernet wire. Wi-fi is for mobile devices; if it doesn’t move, it’s wired.
