Watercolour of female life model, she is kneeling at an angle, leaning backwards and twisted over to one side. Her arm is down with arched hand resting on the floor supporting her twisted rotated boy whilst her other arm is elegantly bent at the elbow and is going across her face, so the far side of her body is very long and the near side is very short, due to the curve and twist. She has shoulder length auburn hair. Her form is reflecting into the surface of the floor and she casts several shadows on the wall behind her.
