The absolute pinacle of filmaking was 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit'. Every scene of that film is absolutley perfect. They should have just stopped making films after that.

So Minions & Monsters is one of the most beautiful love letters to film ever made? It oozes with adoration for filmaking in every frame and contains countless blink and you'll miss it references to movies past and present. Im in love. Sincerely one of my favorite films this year.
This is not only an amazing killer kid movie, but a masterclass in tension and filmaking in general. It is absolutely superb!!!!

At the end of Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse Francis Ford Coppola says the thing that most excites him about filmaking going forward is the democratisation of tools and how anyone will be able to a movie in the future.
