The ATO waited until after the primary judge made serious findings of misconduct against the investigator before now involving the NACC, despite repeated warnings. And still the Commonwealth appealed the factual findings. An extraordinary case.

This is meticulous work, with shocking findings.
NEW: How the Trump administration is undermining the health of Americans.

Since Jan 2025 I’ve logged >400 actions against health. Vaccines are the most obvious front, but the attacks include research, the environment, access and misinformation.

Democracy Docket's @jenrice.bsky.social has spent her Election Day on the ground in Tarrant County, Texas where she's visiting polling places and gauging voter sentiment.

Her findings? Despite numerous threats posed by the GOP, today's ballot-casting process appears to be running smoothly so far.

It's quite something to cast doubt on the work & findings from multiple independent scientists at universities & a Victorian government scientific research agency.

This illustrates why AI cannot replace journalism & expert analysis: This AI-sourced treatment of the SCOTUS decision depicts it as modest because the Court didn't make specific findings about the list.

That misses the forest for the trees: SCOTUS never rejects DOJ applications in lightning speed.
The emergency posture matters: the Court resolved only whether to set ballots aside now, not whether the list is valid. The 9th Circuit was 2-1 on Friday; Judge Carter had already refused a TRO. Both sides:

Here is a mass attempted replication of old findings of LLMs with new models. Much conventional wisdom is outdated.

Recent models no longer invent citations and both hallucination rates & stereotyping has dropped. But they are still sycophantic & lean left. zou-group.github.io/llm-claims-s...

“These reports tackle important issues in the health system,”

“But to keep it hidden under the carpet for one year, two years, just because they don’t like the findings, because the findings don’t fit their particular ideology, I think is an absolute disgrace.”

Is it true that SCOTUS didn't make specific findings about the list?

Sure, that's accurate, but a bot wouldn't immediately pick up on how astonishingly rare it is for the Supreme Court to receive an EMERGENCY application and smack it down within hours without full briefing.
