Lenovo's 'encrypted' fingerprint USB drive is just an unencrypted SD card in a fancy case — AI-assisted follow-up finds a backdoor and hardcoded keys in other ‘secure’ USB products
The fingerprint only switched the USB connection on; nothing on the card was encrypted.

Lenovo USB: fingerprint for show, not security

Lenovo's "encrypted" fingerprint USB stick was just an unencrypted SD card, with the fingerprint reader only enabling the USB connection. 🤦‍♂️

I see a lot of "Hey some artist put their time and effort into this so you have to be kind" but you can see every single ridge in some CEOs fingerprint on Concord.

Some leggy blonde teleprompter-reader is gonna say something like “stunning rebuke of Trump” or just not be able to spin numbers like this, and he’ll know that we’re waiting (barely) to tear down anything with his name, fingerprint, or stink on it.

Oh wow, lots of questions about this! 😊

I start getting books at the end of August, and my neighborhood has multiple bookshops with used books (Fingerprint, H&H) and thrift stores (Circle Thrift, Thunderbird) that I buy them at.

I only get books I know I can talk to the kids and adults about. ❤️
