Could someone school me here. Surely, immigration violation doesn't warrant fireams? I get it, immigration law has been broken, but come on, guns? 😳. I would expect this horrid behaviour in drug raids, etc. I guess things are going to be more horrific for people across the pond.

That bein said, I don’t think all officers should carry lethal sidearms. I think non-lethal projectiles could be standard, but live fireams oughta require additional scrutiny & trainin, as well as psych, vision & stability evals at least annually.

Could likely listen to liberals on gun laws too....Alabama has the 4th highest fireams related mortality rate in the USA...23.7 per 100,000 people. NY 4.4. Hawaii 3.7.
