Illinois has officially ended the fiscal year with nearly $54 billion in revenue — the most the state has ever collected in a single year.

We've exceeded initial projections thanks to responsible fiscal management that prioritizes Illinoisans.

"RKF took money earmarked to provide health care for Black infants and spent it on his personal security detail" is a ludicrous headline.

Comic book villainy.

The good news is that Nintendo said they wouldn't raise prices this fiscal year.

The bad news is the current fiscal year ends in 3 days.
You should probably buy a Switch 2 before the price goes up, too.

Wait, a man who drove his wife to suicide by proving how popular he is with the ladies stole money from black kids for their health to fund an entourage to prove how important he is?

It's *almost* as if RFK, Jr. is a truly horrible, insecure person!

The shooting today comes at a critical moment in negotiations on the fiscal year 2026 DHS budget.
Democrats cannot vote for a DHS budget that doesn’t restrain the growing lawlessness of this agency.
A witness shared this video with me showing an ICE officer shooting a driver in an SUV in south Minneapolis. DHS says the woman is dead.

Mamdani has proposed a balanced budget for next year, holding spending level while closing a $12 billion deficit.

Trump's budget proposal increases the deficit year over year by about $300b, with a massive deficit next year of more than $2 trillion.

Fiscal responsibility? Mamdani > Trump.

I am shocked to see this language from the NSF.

“The U.S. National Science Foundation's Fiscal Year 2027 Budget Request reflects a strategic alignment of resources in a constrained fiscal environment while eliminating woke and weaponized grant programs that previously funded radical DEI projects.”
