Monogram only made 2 pencil sharpeners for Gobots, a Leader-1 one and a Fitor one. The inclusion of Fitor is odd, not just because he's not a huge character but also because Monogram made 4 pencil eraser figurines that looked very similair (maybe even using the same molds)... 1/2

For this #VintageToyTuesday, here's Fitor from the Go-Bots.

While he wasn't really too significant in America as Fitor, Jet Robo (sometimes Blue Jet) is by FAR the face of the Machine Robo side of the franchise having multiple updated toys, and being one of only two characters to get a nearly 1 to 1 remake for Machine Robo Rescue.

This silver version of Hans-Cuff that transforms the toy from a cop car to a regular civilian vehicle is one of the rarer alt color schemes with it being exclusive to an Australian only multipack and replaced in later releases of said multipack by a regular version of Fitor.

In the episode Fitor to the Finish after being captured refers to himself as a "patriot" and then is called a "fanatic" by Leader-1, which implies some more complex political depth to the Renegades beliefs which is never really built upon in the show.

Every Boy Child in North America circa 1984 had at least one Fitor. He's one of the simplest and earliest GoBots. But he's an iconic looking red robot that turns into an extremely swooshable little space plane. Does the job, no frills but competently.

Robo Machine Shooting Stars Character Marbles by Peter Pan Playthings! The packaging allows you to “transform” these double sided marbles from robot to vehicle mode. There’s also a Transformers set in this series (they were packed in the same case!) so you could have a TF vs RM marble battle!

Robo change Convertor 2 in 1 Robot ⬅️➡️ Spaceship! An oversized bootleg of Gobots Fitor! Not the best quality but I like how the ship mode becomes a little more shuttle-like than Fitor’s, er, fighter. Face looks oddly organic

In Transformers Timelines Vol. 2 issue 3, "Shattered Glass" an evil version of Leader-1 and a regular Fitor who is an autbot for some reason, is killed by the Decepticon Rampage. The Shattered Glass version of Leader-1 even sharing Cy-Kill's color scheme while Fitor looks normal.

In the Revenge of Cronos French dub, Revenge of the Gobots, which made it a Gobots sequel, had this character be renamed to be Fitor. Which fits in that he's one of the main villains' most loyal followers but also not fitting because, c'mon look at these "same characters."

Detector was a bootleg of Fitor from the 90s revival of the Brazilian Mutante line of GoBots knock-offs. Much like the rest of the line he shares the mold of the original but with a new colour scheme and made entirely out of plastic.
