He’s 3 years old, gloriously orange and chunky, FIV+, and a permanent resident here at Whiskers N Wishes. Crayon came to us feral and FIV+, a combination that made finding him a traditional home nearly impossible.

In case you don’t already know, Francie and Marcel have FIV. We adopt FIV+ cats because we know how to care for them and they are often overlooked in shelters. 🥰

Parce que c'est un examen très cher, qui coûte au moins 10 000€ avec le cycle FIV dans lequel il faut s’engager.

Et qui n’est donc pas remboursé car fait à l’étranger.

Ivy is a stunning 6.5 year old female, medium haired calico kitty with green eyes and white whiskers. She is laying facing and looking at the camera. She is located in Los Angeles, CA. She is very loving and adores pets, ear rubs, and cuddles. Ivy gets along with other cats and would be fine adopted into a home that already has them. She also has an independent side, and would be okay adopted by herself as well. Either way, you're going to love this gorgeous girl! Ivy tested positive for FIV (see below), which isn't a big deal; she will just need a good, healthy diet and to stay inside so that she's not exposed to illnesses. Fiv+ kitties can live with cats that are negative as long as there is no aggression.

#COTD BooBoo is a FIV+ gentle giant that hails from Texas. He came to us after he and his owner had their lives uprooted from Texas and they came to NC. He’s a very sweet boy and loves hanging out with people.

À la fin de mon parcours PMA, j'ai eu recours à un examen interdit en France.

Et si je prends la parole sur ce sujet aujourd'hui, c'est pour qu'il soit enfin autorisé.

In May, I got the chance to foster amazing FIV+ duo Cathy and Heathcliff. They arrived from the shelter with 2 one-day old kittens. Cathy was so thin the shelter had not even realised she was pregnant.

L’eugénisme est souvent un prétexte dans l’AMP. Il y a une différence entre éviter des fausses couches, détecter des handicaps lourds et rechercher l’enfant « parfait ». On ne s’inflige pas des FIV et des stimulations pour choisir le sexe les yeux ou le QI.
