Took an edible last night and had an epiphany about a work project I was struggling on yesterday.

The brilliant note I added in my work to do document:

Flatfell seams.

Similar to a French seam but for heavyweight fabrics like denim, twill, and canvas.

Sew the seam right or wrong sides together, trim one side, fold the untrimmed side over the trimmed seam allowance and topstitch.

Very durable seam finish. Can be done on curves, but it's tricky.
