Texas is next, unless we change things.

It feels like Florida is about 6 months to one year ahead of Texas in censorship trends- liked because their legislature meets yearly instead of every other year like ours.
A broad coalition representing parents, educators, authors, publishers, booksellers, and First Amendment advocates are calling on the Florida Legislators in the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee to investigate the actions of the SBOE.

This language is just BONKERS.

It literally says that if you don't want to chance a FELONY CHARGE (which basically disqualifies you from ever working in ed again), you'll want to avoid ANY material that someone MIGHT find "shameful".
