For a while I couldn’t find any stones I would consider fit for flintlnapping. However, yesterday O came across some rocks that look promising judging from the quality of their insides. Although not perfect, they should be good enough for practice and maybe even a not so impressive stone tool.

A helpful source of information that I picked up last week has been ‘Flintlnapping Making & Understanding Stone Tools’ it goes over many different types of stone tools and the techniques used to craft them, with references to other literature that goes deeper on a given topic.
