I've bounced off FFTA2 twice at the difficulty spike during the Lord of the Flowsand boss (You get a defeat screen during main missions and I'd forgot to save beforehand.), maybe I need to give it another shot tho...

On this by the way: It's a poor example since like maybe 2 people actually care super seriously about the game, but as I recall the only story fight in Tactics A2 that's legitimately kinda tricky (i wouldn't say it's /hard/) is the Lord of the Flowsand about. I dunno 30% of the way in

I might be stuck in Tactics A2. I can't see a reasonable way my team beats the Lord of the Flowsand.

I've only played Tactics and can immediately say the Lord of the Flowsand race battle comes to mind.
