I live in the South Bay Area and the one thing you should do in my city is take your small child to the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose. It's an amazing place.

I live in Fremont, Ca, which is boring for the most part, but everyone should absolutely go to the Silent Film Museum. It’s in the Niles District, where Essanay Studios West was located in the 1910s. More than 350 films, including Charlie Chapman’s The Tramp, were filmed there! #flythefriendlysky

I'm in Brisbane, Australia, and everyone should visit the Queensland Museum!! There's always something on, both paid and free, and it's connected to the art gallery which again has free and paid exhibitions.

Also, do the tour of the clock tower!! It's free and interesting!

Canberra ACT. Imma newb to the place but my favourite places so far are the Fyshwick Market and all the cultural institution gift shops. Lol

Lake BG at sunset is pretty nice tbh.

Come walk where Ben Franklin lived. Put your butt in the same pews where all those cats truly did worship. Think about all of it for a little while.

Then go to Good Dog for a burger and a beer.

Rockport, TX (coastal south Texas)
Birding here is great, lots of areas to see the whooping cranes & hummingbirds migrating through in the fall; dozens of sea birds nesting in the spring at the Rookery. The beach, fishing, lots of restaurants. Quaint small town

E. Tn. at the state line - go hiking. We're in a national forest area, and there is so much hiking to do here. And 15 minute drive east will bring you to the Appalachian Trail.

I live in Melbourne. I'm not a big sports guy, but the one thing you should do here is see an Australian football match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Preferably one that Collingwood wins!
