I feel like you could keep the separate Pro divisions, but replace the Am ones with like M/FM1–4 and maybe M/FG1–4 [Masters/Grandmasters] instead of having over a dozen division options by age.

I won't touch it as it's all AI coded and I'm flat out against that, but M-Vave have just released an official one. That has a deeper multi-track sequencer, different sound engines etc. You can play with it at open.m-vave.com/fm1-workbench. That may have more potential for live use, but it's busy

(i should add: the original firmware is a good FM engine, equivalent to/easier to use than the korg volca fm2, and it has a nice arp & 16-step sequencer. some of the firmwares i've heard good things about but cannot and will not vouch for are felucca, x0x, sloop, melodee, and baud girl. too many)
