^Zmount or SLR?
Zmount: yes!!
Nikon Fmount: No... M42 Flange focal distance is incompatible for Infinity focus.

Put that old fmount lens on your Z camera. Those vintage lenses are awesome and the focus peaking works like a charm.

Same. But now I meed to actually sell the dslrs and most of my fmount lenses. I keep putting it off🤦‍♂️

Aw you are sweet. No I have my z7. It’s my main. I just am losing my backup. I kept the 200-500 on it for wildlife. I can put the big lens on my z7. I have the fmount converter. It’s just not practical all the time to keep changing.
The d810 is 10years old. Served me well.

A quick look at the FTZ II adapter from Nikon, a cosmetic change v the first one, hopefully we'll see a screw drive adapter down the road. I've kept it fairly short, as per usual - do note the lens weight limits.
