The Thing That Walks Through Mist
It waits at the edge of the flood, glowing eyes fixed on whoever dares to look back.

A tall, monstrous figure looms in a mist-choked industrial alleyway, partly hidden by heavy fog and shadows. Its body is humanoid but unsettlingly elongated, with long arms that hang low toward the ground. Strands of what looks like moss, weeds, or tangled hair drape across its form, giving it a swamp-born, feral presence. The most striking feature is its glowing, amber-yellow eyes that cut through the fog with an eerie, almost mechanical intensity. The creature stands at the far end of a shallow flooded pathway, its reflection shimmering and distorted in the rippling water. On either side of the scene, bamboo and wild growth close in, framing the narrow flooded corridor. The background is obscured by haze, metallic siding, and stray cables, adding to the industrial decay atmosphere. The mood is foreboding, cinematic, and otherworldly—like an encounter with a folkloric guardian or a horror from the wetlands.
