Yes I know Windows Media Player is gross blah blah blah but until I can find a better alternative this is what I'm stuck with

And my music played on foobar at max volume is pretty much on spot for what is intended for properly balanced audio but it often sounds too quiet but I have to live with that because my autism forces me to.

Typescript allows union types like `true | false | 'foobar'`. Maybe controversial, but sometimes that union type is more readable to me than `'custom string for this library' | 'thing i have to mentally map to false' | 'foobar'`. Especially for functions where the string value is incredibly uncommon

Pues esta mañana vi a alguien que hablaba del tema, y he rescatado mis viejos ipod shuffle, y mis viejos mp3. Llevaba meses sin pagar spotify pero sin encontrar alternativa y la tenia en un cajón...he cambiado winamp por foobar y vuelto a los 2000

Disaster! I saw the slipping in the fabric and got suspicious. Peeked under the measuring tape... :-( Apparently I didn't beat evenly at all. Or it is a combination with bad tension on that side. I have to unweave 30 cm of thin yarn, then start again.

The difference between foobar2k and Spotify is that foobar sends your listens (and playing now) directly, while we need to poll Spotify to retrieve them for everyone.
Combine that with a low rate limit and it can take a long time to process all LB users with a connected Spotify account.

after switching to linux years ago i never really found a good replacement local music player. musicbee and foobar on wine "work" but they'd corrupt all the time in my experience. my friend chloe recommended me strawberry music player yesterday. very glad to say its incredible i am never going back

"only" 26 foobar playlist pages left! i can presumably be done listening to the remixes within the year! i wish my feeling was less of looking forward to that. there is definitely stuff i like in there, just not nearly as much as i would like to like as much as i could like.
