Herrera arrives as United Women assistant 'She loved us singing her new song to her!' Report: Durham 1 United Women 5

Voting for the first monthly Manchester United Women's award of the 2026/27 season is now open. After a tough start, it was an eventful and goal-laden September for Eva Olid's side, with the Reds scoring 19 times across all competitions. We've handpicked eight of the best to compete for our Goal of the Month prize, and it could be difficult to choose a favourite. Julia Zigiotti is on the list after capitalising on an Arsenal error to score at the Emirates Stadium, in our 1-1 draw there. Four efforts from the 10-1 thrashing of Sheffield United also make it on to the shortlist, including Ella Toone's finish to a well-worked team move, Lea Schuller's second, Jess Simpson's 'Olimpico' goal and Mared Griffiths' hat-trick clincher. Andrea Medina's inaugural Reds effort also makes the shortlist, as do two goals, scored by Dom Janssen and Monica Jusu Bah, from Wednesday night's win at Durham. Make sure you cast your preferred vote below, before we close the poll and announce the winner next week...
