You should check out Rune Soldier then, it has a pretty funny bar fight scene in it, lol.
Which, coincidentally, takes place in the same world as Lodoss War (and Legend of Crystania).

I believe that Sword World 2.5 uses the Swords of Genesis setting as its core default, while 1.0 uses Forcelia of Lodoss/Rune Soldier/etc...
They do show the influence of Lodoss on their page for the game, but I don't know if they have announced the setting yet. (I hope so tho!)

That one is kinda the other way around. It is based on Forcelia which was an RPG setting the author created that was meant to be able to be put in any rule set (but probably originally specifically for Sword World RPG). Forcelia went no where but Lodoss is, of course, iconic.

it uses a gridless 2d6 combat system and is set in the world of Forcelia, which you might remember from Record of Lodoss War and Rune Soldier
