Why is it so difficult to know how much damage U.S. strikes did to the underground Fordo nuclear site in Iran? For the same reason it was so hard to hit in the first place.

Possible targets include Isfahan, Fordo and the underground Pickaxe Mountain complex near Natanz. The report said Iran had reinforced some sites and planted explosives in anticipation of a raid.
