I was asked again why I still make Pulse Ribbons. I still make them because we can never forget what happened here.
With no permanent memorial yet in Orlando, I feel that I have to keep making the ribbons to honor The 49.
It is my honor to honor The 49.
9 years and counting.

People need to start understanding that cruelty is the point.
They aren't even satisfied with LGBTQ+ being killed, they have to erase any solidarity the world might have with the victims

Workers under cover of night removed a rainbow crosswalk outside of the former Pulse nightclub, apparently as part of state and federal transportation officials’ aim to wipe “political banners” from public roadways. www.orlandosentinel.com/2025/08/21/r...

This past Friday, the City of Orlando had many events, one was a private event for just Families & Survivors of the Pulse Shooting.
I was honored to have been asked by The City to provide Ribbons for all the family, survivors.
I was honored. It was very special.

This is what a dictatorship looks like! I live in FL. The people of FL want it restored back to the pride colors in remembrance of those who lost their precious lives that horrible night. 😡

That’s all I have left.

Fuck You DeKkklantis. You're trying to literally whitewash people out of existence & it won't work. People have already taken it upon themselves to color back over it with chalk & we'll just keep doing it! Good trouble is everywhere. 🏳️🌈❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🏳️🌈 #ShowYourRainbow #HonorThemWithAction #pulse #ForThe49

It’s kind of weird thinking about not making Pulse Ribbons.
10 years of making them. 10 years of blisters. 10 years of cutting my fingers with scissors. 10 years of pricking my fingers with pins.
For 10 years, 49 families have not been the same. For 10 years.
