If we’re being honest here, Dixie should have been her own movie as the lead star apart from the FotH universe. Given how many misses Disney had in the late 2000s, an original movie with Dixie as the lead protagonist (coupled w:the household name of her VA Reba McEntire), would have been successful.

I potentially found Nodobryoria subdivergens on the alpine rocks, but I often struggle with Bryoria and Nodobryoria. Let's call this ID tentative. I am more confident that I also found the reddish, hairlike Nodobryoria oregana hanging from a tree on the ascent.
The alpine streams had lots of semi-aquatic Dermatocarpon lichens. I haven't tried keying these and a few others to the species level yet.

Mountain Bootstrap (Cornicularia normoerica) is abundant on the higher or more expose areas of these peaks. Cool little guys, sometimes tufted, sometimes prostrate.
