There's been some real good free games on Steam recently. Few as weird as Fourmiworld, though.
A kinda-sorta metroidvania set in a mostly-destructible open world that loops at the left/right and top/bottom edges, with a funky photo-collage aesthetic. Very non-linear with major mysterious vibes.

There's been some real good free games on Steam recently. Few as weird as Fourmiworld, though.

I've been playing Fourmiworld (store.steampowered.com/app/3747140/...) lately, there's a bit of a learning curve but once you get into it it becomes addictive- really unique exploration mechanics, and I keep thinking "just one more" before I can turn it off
