#fredart
I should have done this ages ago, but i have now have a convenient Ko-Fi page if you ever feel inspired to toss coin at this long struggling and irritating artist type person: ko-fi.com/fredart

Ah, now this is the core treasure of these discs. On them are fully preserved browsable versions of late 90s otaku culture websites and fansites.

It's cross your fingers and hope they're fully scraped on the Wayback Machine, so for a digital archaeologist like me, this is lovely stuff.

Yes, there are even older Fredart pages on the Wayback Machine, but you need to know where to look. Fredart.com didn't exist 'till 1999 - most of the early pages were on fmg.simplenet.com which you can search for on Wayback, going back to 1997 :)

Yes it is. This is in fact my Fredart 2.0 website from early 1998, a few years before the first Megatokyo comic in August 2000. Remember landing pages? :)

But yeah, I registered fredart.com in 1999. The first time i used the term 'Fredart' was for my art page in my original website "Fred's Totally NYAN Web Pages from late 1996 or so. Note that i was 'Fred-bo' at the time - the nickname i used before 'Fred-rin' which came later.

Fred took it down. He can't support fulfillment by himself anymore. He had some stuff on Teespring, but he needs to redo that. And he has FredArt on artstation but only has a few available as prints. All stuff he means to set up better, but like with the comic, he's struggling to find time.

I remember this from a MegaTokyo novel I picked up! Is @sevs44936.megatokyo.com FredArt? I need to get back into the series...

Ahhh! Fredart 2.0 from 1988! I should make screenshots of the 3 different Fredart sites, back when building a website is what you did, and it was fun. Sad that today's fredart.com is just my artstation account...
