Their November preview included this, which is not an opera I would have thought ripe for a children's treatment.

I reckon if you grew up prior to streaming (and even more so Freeview) then you were frequently stuck with what you'd recorded off the telly or stuff bought at HMV etc.
You watched that shit almost weekly. If you were in anyway a pothead that made it worse/better.

It goes without saying that ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13 made its UK debut on Friday 26 August 1977 as part of the Edinburgh Film Festival. Stand down for another year.

Anti BBC rhetoric is also tied up with wanting to free up the Freeview broadcast frequencies to monetise in other ways. It must be opposed as currently anyone with an aerial can watch TV but in the future they will have to pay unrelated broadband companies who will then control broadcasting
